Finally got back home at 4pm...phew! What a turnaround! I was only expecting an industrial visit and a quiz today. What were missing are robots battling each other and Mikaela running, I guess.
We were required to undergo a medical clearance before being released by USM. I was there at 9.30 am and the crowd was already like this:
It's really a recipe for disaster if you ask me;
1. Gather everyone at the cafe...
2. Put an infected person in the middle of the crowd...
3. And voila, you have a whole campus of zombies! Well done...I bet you'll be a getting a recruitment call from Osama soon.
According to USM, there are still no H1N1 cases in USM. Those 20 people downed with fever are just having Influenza Like Illness (ILI). I am no doctor, so can any medical grad confirm the existance of this illness? Or is it really just a cover up? hmpf!
I really hope it is just ILI instead of H1N1...I mean, cases like this can't be kept under the carpet, can they?
Sigh, now I need to monitor myself closely as my classmate is already a confirmed case (of ILI, I hope)

Episode I: The Virus Menace
The rumours are strong in this one.
It was rumoured that 1 guy had it last Thursday...which caused the Desasiswa officials to go berserk and announced "sick people should seek medical attention RIGHT AWAY!"
No one was listening I guess.
Now, rumours say another 8 people from Lembaran had it. And according to my Lembaran friend, medical assistants went around the block in search of a loose 'Dark Lord' (or Lords?)
1 of my classmates was suspected and quarantined. Just knew it this evening. Kinda freaky, especially when I have just had a one-to-one meeting with him last Saturday!
Even my lecturer has banned those with flu and fever from following the industrial trip tomorrow. That is just so the right thing to do =D
(Let's just hope there won't be a human rights protest on this)
Seriously, I think the virus has really invaded our campus. TNC came to monitor the situation...Quarantine rooms being set up in Block 6...Medical assistants ready to shove thermometers into your body...What's next? Advanced midsem break?
Gosh, we better prepare ourselves for the worst.
Urm...where can I get the mask again???

Saturday Night...
8 friends were bored and did not know what to do on a Saturday night...and that's when they bumped to this place.
Yeap, I went to MOIS last night.
After having only coke last time out, I vowed not to drive this time. Finally, I had some real drinks.
We drank, went to the toilet, drank, admired the 'scenery', drank, danced and...well, you get the idea.
I couldn't say I enjoyed it though...especially when our space got invaded by a 'over-friendly titan'. Not really used to this kinda socialisation.
Furthermore, the 'titan' KO-ed my friend. ChehChun-san, this is how you look like yesterday.
Thanks KokSoon-san for capturing the moment. lol
And here's another 1...after you threw up 4 times.
All in all, we enjoyed the Saturday night. Can't wait for the next time? Nah, I'll pass for the moment.

Work 1 - Done!
Phew! Finally completed and handed up my LI report today.
23 pages of genuine report, 68 pages of appendix to make it look thick and presentable..lol
Today was my lucky day I guess. My group won RM 30 for our superb presentation on Ceramic Matrix Composite last week.
Way to go Team CMC!
And thanks Dr. Rahim! (But I am still broke from spending 2.6k during my internship period...any compensation for that? lol)
Ok, let's divide the money now...RM 30 / 16 people = RM1.875 per person. Well, not bad, not bad...Still enough for teh tarik and roti canai.

User-friendly Toilets??
I bumped into this toilet for disabled patrons at the School of Mechanical Engineering yesterday.
Welcome to my life! =)
Hie peeps!
First and foremost, welcome to my blog. This is my second blog after my...ahem...not-so-well first attempt in blogging =P
My blog title says all about what I am gonna write...what I see is what you'll get. So stay tuned to know what's happening (erm...mostly what's not) in the little world of USM Engineering Campus ;)
Live long and prosper!
